The message that went out to solar sales organizations and partners
"...For the last six months we have been negotiating with a potential buyer to acquire the company. This buyer was unique in that they were looking to bring new sales channels to the company and take us in a new direction.
Unfortunately, on Tuesday evening, those negotiations fell through. Over the past few days we have been speaking with other potential investors in an attempt to bring capital into the company.
We regret to inform you that those talks have been unsuccessful as well. We are therefore no longer able to continue. As of tonight, Titan is closing its doors.
We want to thank each and every one of you for your hard work and dedication to Titan. You are the reason why Titan has been a leader in the solar industry and helped over a hundred thousand families go solar.
As far as next steps, you will be paid your final paycheck in accordance with state laws. A follow up notification will be sent out providing a time to collect any personal belongings from the office and return any company equipment.
Once again, thank you for your commitment to Titan..."

"For nearly 40 years, SunPower has made solar energy more accessible to Americans, driven by our mission to change the way our world is powered. We are confident Complete Solaria's CEO,
T.J. Rodgers, will carry forward our vision to shape the future of residential solar as a pioneer in this space," said
Tom Werner, Executive Chairman at SunPower.
"In light of the challenges SunPower has faced, the proposed transaction offers a significant opportunity for key parts of our business to continue our legacy under new ownership. We are working to secure long-term solutions for the remaining areas of our business, while maintaining our focus on supporting our valued employees, customers, dealers, builders, and partners.".........
........SunPower has requested Court approval to access the necessary prepetition cash collateral to fund business operations and administrative expenses during the Chapter 11 cases.
To support its operations during the court-supervised process, the Company is filing a variety of customary motions seeking, among other things, authorization to meet its obligations to its employees. The Company expects to receive Court approval for these requests. Following an expeditious sale process, the Company plans to liquidate any remaining assets and undergo an orderly and efficient winddown of its operations."
